Reading groups and Chess club meet regularly across Newcastle Libraries.
Activities for children and families

We have one of the best library board game collections in the country! Visit our Board Games for information on upcoming meet-ups.
Knit and crochet clubs
Our knit and crochet network meets across Newcastle Libraries and makes beautiful items for charity.
Groups for English learners
Our Practise English group is for those looking to improve their language skills.
Heritage Open Days 2024
We're delighted to be part of this year's Heritage Open Days, which take place from the 6th - 15th of September 2024.
The Open Days are a chance to explore Heritage you wouldn't normally have access to and this year we're hosting 5 events.
