Library of Sanctuary Booklist

As a City, Newcastle Council is committed to doing what they can to welcome those seeking sanctuary.

City of Sanctuary UK have worked closely with Libraries to create our Library of Sanctuary.

Newcastle Libraries are part of a network of places of sanctuary celebrating cultural diversity through arts, books and many other resources and reaching out to these communities to meet their needs and interests.

We are committed to welcoming and offering help and support to refugees and asylum seekers using our services.

These books have been recommended by Newcastle City of Sanctuary.
