Early Help and Early Years Training

 

If you want work in a group setting you may need a qualification or show you are willing to gain a qualification. Click to find more information about qualifications. You could also find further information from your local college of Further Education.

If you work in childcare and early years provision in Newcastle, or are a childminder or childminding assistant in Newcastle you can access free training from the Early Help and Early Years Training Programme.

 

We are pleased to announce we have developed some online training which is accessible to Early Help and Early Years practitioners.

We are in the process of developing more so watch this space!

Equality and Diversity in the Early Years

Food Hygiene (you will need to fill in a booking form for each time you access)

Early Help Module 1  (this is 1 of 3 modules more coming soon)

How to book

To gain access to the e-learning portal please fill in the  booking form for your first course access.

Click here to download the booking form and return via email or post to:

wfdadmin@newcastle.gov.uk or Workforce Development Admin, room 213, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH

If you work in a group setting you must seek your managers approval to attend training before you book and ensure that they have signed your form to show this. Please leave EHEY in the box at the start of your name please.

 

Once you receive a log in by email please keep this safe it is your individual access to all of your e-learning courses.

You won't need to fill in another booking form to access any other courses, simply log in, choose a course, enrol and complete.

Food Hygiene you will need to fill in a booking form each time you need access.
