Newburn Manor Primary School (a one form entry school in the Outer West of Newcastle upon Tyne) is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS.

The school is looking for someone who:

- Must hold a QTS or equivalent

- Has a kind, friendly personality with a sense of humour.

- Has the ability to inspire pupils

- Has excellent classroom management skills

- Be enthusiastic and hard working

- Has expertise or keen interest in Science and Geography

The Role:

- You will be teaching the Year 2 curriculum to a class of around 30 pupils

- You will be required to plan, mark and assess work throughout the academic year

- Support and direct your class with positive behaviour management
