Highways Technician (Claims Investigation) - Engineering Consultancy

What the role will involve?

Investigating incidents involving damage to property and personal injury because of alleged defects on the Highway Network. This will involve site visits to record all relevant information, works ordering and then collating all information on the Local Authority Claims Handling System (LACHS)

You will be supporting and advising colleagues and apprentices whilst complying to Newcastle City Councils policies and procedures.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a someone who works well as part of a team and will also work off their own initiative. Also, someone who can understand highway plans and specification.
