Care Services - Byker Lodge
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team at Byker Lodge Resource Centre as a Team Leader. Forming part of our management structure; responsible for the management and monitoring of staff,the people we support and the resource centre.
It’s a great time to join our team as we continue to integrate with the health sector and look to equip our services with capabilities to further develop how we deliver care to adults within Newcastle.
Our staff must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting independence, health, wellbeing, and choice to those who use our services.
Byker Lodge is our short-term assessment centre in the east of the city. It provides support for up to 21 people after a hospital admission, or community admissions preventing hospital stays, for adults living with a cognitive impairment.
Our service provides front-line care and support to some of the most vulnerable adults in the city. Maintaining the dignity of people is always our priority and successful applicants must be able to deliver care and support with great sensitivity.
We are looking for applicants with a flexible approach who are committed to making a real difference to people’s lives.
Being able to work shifts, unsociable hours (including weekends), and sleep-ins is essential and will attract an all-inclusive enhancement of 15%.
£43,421 per annum salary (£3,618.42 per month)
*15% = £6,513.15 enhancement per annum (approx. £542.76 per month)
Candidates must be willing to undertake Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care or other relevant professional qualification.
