Actual salary £10,971 - £11,190 per annum pro rata
Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant Role - Part time 5 hours per week (1 hour each day) term time only. N02 £18,198
Actual salary £2,045 per annum pro rata
Working hours - Term time only - 8.30am - 3.15pm

Stocksfield Avenue Primary School is a popular and oversubscribed two-form entry school in the west end of Newcastle. The school benefits from excellent facilities such as music provision and extensive school grounds. The school was rated as ‘good’ in the latest Ofsted inspection, 2019. This is an exciting and varied role in a very successful and happy school in the heart of a vibrant and diverse community.
SMART Multi Academy Trust comprises 8 primary schools in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. The Board of Trustees of SMART Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a TA/Support Assistant for Stocksfield Avenue Primary School to work alongside the teacher in a Key Stage 1 classroom. The role also includes providing support/care to children during the midday break.
The successful applicant will have:
• Good skills in literacy and numeracy
• An ability to use ICT systems
• Knowledge and experience of delivering the literacy and numeracy curriculum
• Experience of working with children who need additional individual / small group intervention to assist learning
• The ability to supervise children both inside and outside during the lunch break
