We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated solicitor or barrister to fill this permanent post within Legal Services.

The majority of the Team deal with childcare matters, with the main element of work being care and placement proceedings. The adult social care section of the Team deal with a wide range of work including Court of Protection applications, advice on Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

As Team Manager, you must have extensive recent experience of either childcare and/or adult social care work. If you only have experience in one of these areas, you must have a sound understanding of the other area.

Applicants for the above post will also ideally have recent experience of managing or supervising staff. You will lead, manage and encourage the Team to provide an efficient and cost-effective service.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners
