We currently have one Senior Business Support Officer vacancy within our team supporting Children and Families Newcastle.

Children and Families Newcastle is a network of health, education and support practitioners offering a range of services to families across Newcastle from a number of community based sites. Our Business Support team are based within each of these sites rotating across each to ensure there is always cover provided.

The Business Support team respond to queries from the public (face to face and telephone) and work from a shared mailbox responding to requests for support from professionals working within the network. The Senior Business Support Officer is an integral part of the team and responsible for allocating work across all staff, including overseeing shifts, and highlighting any conflicting priorities or work issues to the Business Support Team Manager.

You will also be responsible for leading on the production of key communication documents and tools to support promotion of activities.

You need to have proven experience of working as part of a team; including dealing with workloads and conflicts. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is confident in working with senior managers, practitioners, health and education professionals.

You also need to be confident in dealing with challenging customers and discussing sensitive issues. We are looking for someone who has proven experience of identifying issues with processes and presenting proposed solutions.

You should be competent in the use of all Microsoft applications including word, excel, power point, publisher, teams and shifts. Experience using Visio and other presentations software would be an advantage.
