An opportunity has arisen for a 12-month fixed term post within Newcastle City Councils resilience team, working with internal and external partners across Northumbria.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, as well as help to continuously improve our preparedness and response arrangements.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience of emergency response and recovery
• Experience of writing and/or maintaining business continuity arrangements
• Experience of planning and delivering multi agency exercises
• Experience of designing and delivering training sessions to officers at various levels
• Experience of writing and/or maintaining emergency plans
