A Vacancy has arisen for a Programme Support Officer within the Economic Development Unit of the City Council. We are looking for individuals skilled and experienced in project and programme support, with excellent communication and administrative skills to provide a key supporting role to projects and programmes of work across the Economic Development Unit. These projects span a range of areas with many funded through external funding streams from a range of partners. The work is exciting and varied and will involve working with colleagues from across various teams within the council as well as external partners from the public, private and third sector. We are looking for someone with excellent IT and administrative skills who has the ability to work under pressure and communicate well at all levels, including dealing with confidential and sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable in their approach and be able to multitask as well as having meticulous attention to detail.
