We are looking for a Senior Auditor to join our Audit, Risk and Insurance Service.

Within the Service our Internal Audit Team provides quality services to Newcastle City Council and a range of other public sector clients such as Nexus, Northumberland National Parks Authority and Your Homes Newcastle.

These services include the delivery of audit assignments, fraud investigation work and the identification of opportunities to improve value for money and efficiency. Our work includes all types of internal audit activity including assurance and consultancy work and conforms with the Public Sector Internal Audit Standard.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering internal audit assignments and investigations to a high standard and will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with clients, as well as championing improvement and efficiency. The post reports to the Audit, Risk and Insurance, Service Manager.
