£43,421 - £46,464 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic solicitor to fill a permanent post within the Planning and Conveyancing Team.

The post within the team will be expected to deal with a wide range of planning and highway matters. The team is currently involved in a number of major development, regeneration projects and transport schemes in the City.

Members of the team are responsible for:-

- providing legal advice to officers and members including Planning Committee

- drafting a variety of agreements including planning agreements pursuant to section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 278 Highways Act 1980, orders and notices

- appearing before courts and local inquiries.
