Newcastle upon Tyne is a vibrant and diverse city which includes its busy city centre, historic conservation areas and a number of exiting new housing and commercial developments.

We are looking to appoint a Planner to work as part of its Development Management function to support the delivery of its planning service.

The post-holders will be responsible for handling a range of planning application enquiries, focused primarily on householder and minor applications.

The candidate must be enthusiastic about planning the future of the city, have a degree or post graduate qualification relevant to Development Management, with relevant experience of handling planning applications and who can demonstrate customer focused communication skills with experience in collaborative working.
