£30, 296 - £33,024 per annum, pro rata (£15,148 - £16,512 actual salary)

Newcastle City Learning is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative tutor to teach accredited and non-accredited maths programmes. Courses will be delivered to adult learners as well as our young adults with special educational needs.

Teaching qualifications are essential for this post. However, we welcome applications from individuals who are already working towards their maths specialism, or from qualified teachers who would be willing to undertake additional training to complete a maths subject specialism.

Tutors will need to be flexible as they may be required to work across a number of locations and evening work may also occasionally be required.

Use of own vehicle, current valid driving licence, or access to mobility transport and a willingness to travel are an advantage for this role.

As this post involves working with children, vulnerable adults or dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage; even if you indicate otherwise.
