If so, we want you to join our ICT & Digital Transformation team as a Security Analyst.

As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to ensure that our ICT systems and services are secure, resilient, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations. You will work closely with other ICT professionals, service managers, and external partners to identify, analyse, and mitigate security risks and incidents. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices across the council.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

<ul>

<li>Experience in ICT security, preferably in a public sector or large organisation context.</li>

<li>Knowledge and understanding of security frameworks, standards, and methodologies, such as ISO 27001, PSN And CAF.</li>

<li>Experience in using security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, antivirus, encryption, VPN, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.</li>

<li>Ability to support security audits, assessments, and tests, and support the production of clear and concise reports and recommendations.</li>

<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.</li>

<li>A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with stakeholders across the organisation.</li>
