Walker Riverside Academy is a thriving, diverse and successful secondary school, located in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support to our EAL students (English as an Additional Language). You will work as part of a team providing support to students both in and out of lessons, develop and implement support plans for students and promote inclusive education. You may also be required to cover

lessons when teachers are not available across the school.

You will be supportive of the school’s values and have the ability to encourage and motivate our students to be the best they can be.
