About the role
The Head of Governance and Compliance will have responsibility for developing the Gosforth Group governance and compliance framework and will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Trust’s governance structure, constitution, procedures, schemes of delegation and other key documents; ensuring governance is delivered in line with these.
As a fast-growing multi-academy trust, governance and compliance is paramount, as such we are looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced professional governance lead.
The Head of Governance and Compliance will work very closely with the Board of Trustees. The Board is made up of individual Trustees from diverse backgrounds, with a wealth of knowledge and relevant skills, gained from a variety of professional backgrounds, and is led by a Chair with extensive educational experience.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic governance professional who is able to lead and manage the strategic development of trust governance arrangements.
With highly effective influencing skills you will have the confidence to advise the Chair, Board of Trustees, and the Chief Executive Officer.
