We are now into our third year of our Strengthening Families Protecting Children Programme (SFPC) and over this time have adopted and embedded a relational approach to working with children and families. This is a whole system change across services for children, young people and families, whereby practitioners, teams and wider partnerships’ practice is shaped and informed by shared restorative language, culture, behaviours and ways of working.

To support our ambitious plans, we have exciting opportunities for Family Group Conferencing Co-ordinators for our Family Group Conference service to work with families to find solutions and make plans to support better outcomes.

We are looking for 2 Family Group Conferencing Co-ordinator’s to work with families who are involved with Early Help services and 1 Family Group Conferencing Coordinator to work with those who are involved with Children’s Social Care.

Family Group Conferencing training will be provided for those who are successful, this is provisionally arranged for June 2023 and will be delivered over 4 consecutive days; successful candidates must be available to attend this training.
