Your Role:
Designing and Assessing Complex Highway Structures: Design, assess and deliver a diverse range of structural projects, from bridges to retaining walls and more.
Project Management: Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets and high quality standards
Mentoring and Collaboration: Guide and support junior engineers, fostering a collaboration and dynamic work environment
What You'll Bring:
Graduate Member of an Engineering Institution and working towards achieving I. Eng or C. Eng, Engineering Council registered Technician Member working towards I. Eng or C.Eng or M. Eng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Proven Highways Structural Expertise: Solid experience in structural design, analysis and relevant software
Excellent Communication: Clearly articulate technical concepts to clients, contractors and the public
Passion for Infrastructure: Enthusiasm for shaping the built environment and improving lives
Inspiring Leadership: Ability to motivate and develop a team of talented engineers
Commitment to Newcastle's Vision: Passionate about improving lives and shaping a sustainable future for our city
