We are seeking to recruit two committed and creative individuals to join the Collaborative Commissioning and Procurement Team within the Resources Directorate.

The successful candidate will be committed to raising the quality of services commissioned in Newcastle and the experience of these services for the City’s residents. Be able to lead or contribute to collaborative commissioning and procurement exercises with councils, or other public sector partners to achieve better outcomes for the North East region.

A high standard of written communication skills and the use of electronic systems is essential, along with a demonstrable knowledge and understanding of analysing data, quality and performance assessment principles, including the role of monitoring, procurement approaches and outcomes-based commissioning. You will be expected to demonstrate commercial procurement acumen across dedicated category areas of spend.
