Applications are invited for a Civic Operations Manager, working within the Facilities and Hospitality services section based at the Civic Centre.

This post will contribute to the management of hard and soft facility services within the Civic Centre and the Mansion House and will also work with the Lead Event Supervisor to ensure all events and meetings are coordinated, supported and delivered in line with the Customers expectations.

This service is customer focussed and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential with the ability to build excellent rapport with clients and building users.

You should have previous experience in building management and you must have knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation in relation to building compliance checks and the ability to interpret legislation

The ability to work to tight deadlines, with attention to detail is essential and you must be able to work cooperatively within a small team and direct them to deliver to agreed timescales and performance levels.

You must be able to demonstrate a flexible working style and be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills

On busy occasions or to cover event staff holidays, you may be required to work occasional evenings or weekends in line with the functions that are booked.
