The Social Care Finance Section are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic people for the role of Business Management Officers.

You will be responsible for assessing how much a person with social care needs will be required to pay towards the cost of their care using the Care Act Regulations and Statutory Guidance. You will support people to understand their charges for care and provide information and guidance on charging rules and our local policies.

You will need to demonstrate a good level of numeracy skills and IT literacy skills and also be familiar with Microsoft Office. You should possess good organisational and communication skills, along with the commitment to delivering excellent customer service provision.

You must be prepared to work in a busy financial office environment, working to tight deadlines, be a flexible team player and be able to work with minimal supervision with having the aptitude to use your own initiative.
