With some of the largest and most flexible rooms in the city, Newcastle Civic Centre can host private functions of any description.

There are various meeting rooms, capable of seating between 12 and 50 guests.  Hire prices are available on request please contact Hospitality Services for more information.

Located on the 1st floor a circular conference auditorium with back wall projection and microphones. 

117 fixes seating with additional extra chairs to the rear of the chamber with seating for up to 50 guests.  The public gallery up one flight of stairs can seat an additional 80 guests.

Displaying the very epitome of modernism, all rooms come complete with wooden panelling carved from African walnut, set against authentic raw silk-lined walls.  Each piece of furniture you’ll find is an original, and of authentic, Scandinavian design.

With 12 rooms of varying sizes, each names after a famous son of the area, we can cater for meetings anywhere between 12 and 50 people.  And as ever our rooms are always fully customisable to meet your needs.  So whether you need a whole media wall for presentations, or simply a whiteboard or flop chart…a selection of sandwiches and cold refreshments brought to you table, or you own personal gourmet chef to cook up a menu of your choice… we pride ourselves on being able to offer anything you could possibly need.

We can help you to plan weddings, birthday celebrations, Christmas parties, business functions and more.  Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements we are always happy to talk you through your event and perhaps we can give you some ideas to make it a memorable occasion.

The mansion House offers a perfect setting for lunches and dinners on special occasions such as retirements, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries and also private business meetings.  Minimum covers for an event is x60 and an evening event would be x82 covers.

Our menus are all carefully prepared by our Chef and Menus can be tailored to meet any dietary requirements or preferences.  Let us know if you have any special requests or ideas for menu ideas our chef will try to accommodate whenever possible.

We can accommodate up to x82 guests for dinner, and up to 120 guests for a casual function with a hot/cold buffet or your choice, or event an outdoor BBQ (weather permitting)   

For smaller parties, share your ideas with us so that we can see if a tailored package could be designed to suit your individual needs.

The Mansion House has been welcoming travellers to Newcastle for over 150 years.  There are five beautifully appointed bedrooms, each beautifully presented.  A unique experience of staying in such a historical Mansion House with a warm welcome and comfortable rooms.                      

We have five bedrooms which are unique and quirky keeping with the Mansion House you can decide if you wish to stay overnight after your wedding .  Complementary tea and coffee making facilities are in all of our bedrooms.

Wedding Exclusive Hire of the Mansion House does include the 5 bedrooms along with full English breakfast the following morning.  Checking out time is 11.00am unless otherwise stated by the duty manager.

The Mansion House is set in a leafy suburb of Jesmond set back from the road surrounded by its own beautifully kept gardens.  Beautiful kept flower beds and some of the most collectable trees this provides you with a perfect Mansion House setting for photographs without needing to travel a long distance to experience a wedding at a Mansion House.
