Financial Inclusion Group

Financial Inclusion Group

Newcastle's Financial Inclusion Group started in 2011. It brings together different partners from the public, community and voluntary sectors to:

  • Tackle key issues in a coordinated way
  • Plan how we will use joint resources
  • Improve how we target resources to help people living in Newcastle
  • Plan joint campaigns to encourage people to talk about money worries before problems reach crisis point
  • Improve our understanding of financial inclusion and the difference we are making

Our partnership working arrangements

Every quarter we hold a Financial Inclusion Group seminar.

We also hold a quarterly Homelessness Prevention Forum.  More information is available on the Newcastle Homelessness Prevention Forum webpage.

Our evidence base

Our quarterly review information is now presented at each Financial Inclusion Group seminar and circulated to all attendees.  Copies of past presentations are available below.
