Kenton Ward Committee has funded these advice days, to help local people.

Kenton Councillor Stephen Lambert says “We know that many Kenton residents struggle to get by at this time of year when there are lots of bills to pay, particularly for home energy.  Citizens Advice Newcastle will have a team of specially trained advisors on hand at the Advice Days to help people sort out their fuel bills, get the best deals, and manage their money better.  Advisors can also help with the full range of everyday problems, including housing, employment, consumer, debt, benefits and family disputes.”

Shona Alexander from Citizens Advice Newcastle says  “We know that some people find it difficult to come in to our offices in City Library, so we are taking our advice services out into the local Kenton community.
“It’s great to be working in partnership with the City Council, helping more people at what, for many, is a difficult time of year.”
