£30,000 - £46,525per annum, depending on relevant teaching experience. Plus 1st SEN Allowance £2,539 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational teacher to lead our well established and successful SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision named ‘The Nest’. The Nest is a bespoke, purposely designed educational provision within our mainstream school and is designed to meet the needs of learners with a high level of SEND. We are looking for a teacher who:

> Has experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage

> Has experience teaching in a SEND Provision and/or in a SEND provision within a mainstream school / working with children with SEND within a mainstream classroom

> Has the ability to lead, mentor and support a small team of staff

> Has experience of working closely with SEND agencies and partners, contributing to Education, Health and Care Plans and liaising with parents

> Is able to work closely with the SENDCO

> Has strong working knowledge of good practice related to SEND and a willingness to keep this knowledge up to date with regular CPD

> Is an outstanding and creative teacher who can provide exciting learning opportunities to suit a range of needs and abilities

> Has high aspirations for all children and is committed to enabling them to achieve their full potential
