The Governors of St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School are seeking to appoint a new Office Manager within our administration department. The Office Manager is central to the smooth running of the school office and key to the successful operation of the school. The postholder will be a central point of contact for communications, internal and external, and will closely assist the Headmaster with operational planning and decision making. At the heart of the school, it is essential that the Office Manager is committed to the school and its values.

This is an exciting opportunity for an efficient, motivated and enthusiastic administrator to join our strong Administration Team. This is a new role that has been created to expand our team of committed support staff. Until the creation of this new post, the role of Office Manager rested with the Headmaster’s PA. This new role will increase our capacity to offer the highest standards of administrative support, and to ensure the efficient and effective running of the school.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent administration, organisational and communication skills as well as good time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary. Previous experience working in the education sector is not essential but would be beneficial.

This is an opportunity to join an impressive, all-boys Catholic School that has enjoyed a reputation as a centre of educational excellence for over one hundred and forty years.
