We are looking to appoint a fixed term learning support assistant who will be responsible for supporting a child with special educational needs under the direction and guidance of class teachers and the SENCo and to provide for the social, educational and welfare needs within the school.

The working pattern will be: Monday - Friday: 8.30 am to 3.45 pm

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

<ul>

<li> Has experience of working successfully with, and supporting children with additional needs in a school environment.</li>

<li> Has high levels of motivation and enthusiasm. (£20,370.00-£21,061.00)</li>

<li> Is an effective team member.</li>

</ul>

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, however the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 &amp;2020) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are &lsquo;protected&rsquo; and are not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account. This role will include Regulated Activities and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure is required for this post.
