English Martyrs’ Catholic Primary is a highly respected two-form entry Catholic school providing a good education for all our pupils. The opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, excellent classroom teacher who is sympathetic and supportive to the aims and ethos of a Catholic School.

English Martyrs strives to wrap children in an atmosphere of care, love and fun. We aim to provide for their moral, social, spiritual and cultural development so that they will have excellent attitudes and relationships.

This is a permanent post suitable for an experienced teacher who will become a member of the Leadership Team of the school and will have leadership responsibilities for a specific Phase within school, as well as leading a curriculum subject.

You will be expected to make a full contribution to the life of the school following the Catholic ethos.

Since April 2021, we have been part of the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust, a family of 39 schools, made up of 5 secondary schools and 34 primary schools from across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland, in the north of the Diocese.
