The Newcastle Homelessness Forum (NHF) was established in 1996 as the Service Providers Information Network. The meetings are held quarterly to share information and discuss issues surrounding homelessness, and is attended by representatives from voluntary and statutory agencies across the sector.
NHF feedback is communicated to the Newcastle Housing Partnership, which in turn feeds into the Newcastle Partnership. If you are interested in attending the NHF meetings please contact nhlp@newcastle.gov.uk. Click here for NHF Minutes.
The aims of the NHF are to:

Share information
Provide a forum for the dissemination and discussion of issues relevant to the sector
Provide information to assist strategic planning
Work towards the better co-ordination of homeless services
Develop protocols for improved joint working
Develop proposals for improved services
Encourage statutory bodies to use the NHF as a consultative body
