Newburn Library is closed until mid-May 2015. We are improving access by changing the entrance, building a ramp and installing a lift. We are also refitting and redecorating the library. We will confirm the official opening date as soon as the main building work is complete.

Fawdon Library will close on Friday 27 March.  A community run library will reopen in Fawdon Community Centre later in the spring.

Newbiggin Hall Library at Simonside Community Centre will close on Tuesday 31 March.  An alternative library facility will open in Trevelyan Court, Trevelyan Drive in June 2015.

Newburn Library is closed for refurbishment from Saturday 28th of February 2015, please contact the City Library for further information regarding the re opening date.

Please note: the public computers are automatically turned off 15 minutes before closing time.
