Writing to the Lord Mayor

Letters should be addressed as follows:

The Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne
Lord Mayor's Chambers
Civic Centre
Newcastle upon Tyne
NE1 8QA

Letters should begin : Dear Lord Mayor

Letters to the Lady Mayoress should begin : Dear Lady Mayoress
When the Lord Mayor is a lady there is no Lady Mayoress. Instead there is a Lord Mayor's Consort. In this case letters should begin Dear Lord Mayor's Consort.

Letters to the Sheriff should begin Dear Sheriff
