Professionals may also which to consult the NSAB Safeguarding Adults Risk Threshold Tool (word doc 66kb) to inform their decision-making.
Further practice guidance, templates and tools are available to assist professionals in using the multi-agency policy and procedures.
Safeguarding adults learning and development
Professionals who come into contact with adults with care and support needs should complete safeguarding adults training at least every three years. Free multi-agency training is provided by the Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board.
