COVID Control: Early Outbreak Management

What to do if you have suspected or confirmed cases of Covid-19

Public Health England has produced a series of industry specific action cards outlining instructions for what you should do as a business or organisation should you have any suspected or confirmed cases of the virus.

Please find the relevant action card for your business here.

Keep us informed

As well as the reporting process set out in the action cards you should inform our COVID Single Point of Contact (SPOC) by completing our simple online form here.

This is so that our COVID Control Plan can be correctly implemented and so that we have the latest information about what is happening in the city.

We may need to contact you to confirm further details and we will use the information that you provide to help inform COVID-19 prevention activity and outbreak control.

The details you give will not be published, but may be shared with other organisations, such as Public Health England, to deliver effective COVID-19 controls.

Each one provides specific advice on the issues organisations in different industries or settings may face.

They complement existing outbreak control guidance, and signpost to other useful information to help business owners and managers fully understand their responsibilities in the event of an outbreak of COVID-19.
