During social distancing and library closures, these fantastic family history resources have been made available. They are normally free when accessed at your local library, but during these times you can access them for free, from home. 

 

Ancestry Library Edition

While libraries are closed, Ancestry have allowed home access. Through this database you will be able to search and view thousands of family records such as census, military records, births, marriages and deaths.

In order to access this service you need to go through the portal in the library catalogue, using your card number and password. Click on the link to Ancestry on your account summary page once you've logged in.

 

Find My Past

While libraries are closed, Find My Past have allowed home access. Through this database you will be able to search and view thousands of family records such as census, military records, births, marriages and deaths.
