Newcastle Youth Justice Service are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to assist our Case Managers to deliver high quality services to Young People.

The service works with Young People with between the ages of 10 and 17 who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System and are subject to statutory Court Orders or Early intervention programmes.

As a Youth Justice Support Officer, you will be supporting Young People to engage in their intervention plans to prevent further escalation into the Criminal Justice System and to promote positive outcomes for them. This will include direct work with Young People using evidence-based intervention programmes, focussing on Restorative Justice and Relationship based practices.
