St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Religious Education teacher. The appointed candidate will become part of a highly successful department which aims to impart a love of Religious Education to the pupils and students in our care. We want our boys to develop a deep understanding of the subject by ensuring that they can see connections between topics and are fluent in the foundational knowledge underpinning Religious Education. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop within an established and supportive team, learning from outstanding practitioners.

The ideal candidate will display a passion for Religious Education, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring our boys to become men for the 21st century. We are looking for a dynamic teacher who will keep abreast of new developments in the pedagogy of the subject, improving their own teaching and learning as well as sharing best practice with others. The successful candidate will bring Religious Education to life for the boys, making it relevant to everyday life and ensuring they understand the importance of studying the subject. Above all, we are looking for someone who will help our boys become better men as well as helping them to become a witness to the ethos of the gospel so they can help create a society of justice and peace.
