The Gosforth Group offers significant opportunities for talented professionals to develop and further their careers in a highly skilled and supportive environment.

This will be underpinned by a passion for their subject and an ability to adapt and apply a range of innovative and progressive teaching and learning strategies to engage pupils and deliver the curriculum. They will be able to plan and organise their workload whilst working effectively within a supportive team environment. Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of all students will be at the heart of everything that they do.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference within a growing and diverse multi-academy trust.

If you have the skills, enthusiasm and commitment to succeed in this role, we want to hear from you. In return, we can offer you:

• A Trust with the community at its heart

• Excellent career development opportunities

• Access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme

• Free use of a free on-site gym at Gosforth Academy

We will choose the most appropriate school to base you in as soon as practicable. This may be subject to internal moves to any of our schools as substantive roles become available. Therefore, if successful, you may be allocated to any school within the Trust.

All applications are welcome, including from trainee teachers who will be qualified teachers in September 2023.

We are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undergo enhanced DBS clearance.
