Temporary from 27th February 2023 until 22nd July 2023 (an earlier start date for full time or possibly part time could be arranged if the successful candidate is able to commence employment sooner).

Havannah First School is situated in Newcastle Great Park in a brand-new building with wonderful facilities. We have an exceptionally motivated staff team and children who love learning. Due to an unforeseen change to staffing, we are looking to appoint an excellent teacher to for a Year 4 Class, in the first instance. This is a temporary appointment, due to the timing of the vacancy, with a view to make it permanent if we are able to. You will need to be able to work as part of the Key Stage 2 team and the wider school team to develop and provide a stimulating and relevant curriculum for our pupils. We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers. Other than for ECTs, the ability to lead art in the curriculum would be advantageous. Havannah First School was previously Broadway East First School and is part of the Gosforth Schools’ Trust. We currently have 270 pupils on roll and intend to increase to 450 pupils as the school grows over the next few years. We are a very happy and successful school, and this is a great time to join us as we develop and grow.
