Governors wish to appoint two motivated and passionate Support Assistants who will make a significant contribution to our school. We are looking for people who have high expectations and who will embrace our shared vision - to provide forward thinking teaching and memorable experiences through the curriculum to prepare our children for life.

Early Years Support Assistant

There is an opportunity to join our early years team, supporting learning in our Reception class. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working and playing with children and have knowledge of the early year’s curriculum. The position will include delivering Read Write Inc. phonics sessions, some working 1:1 with pupils who have additional needs (SEND) and will include small group work and playing with children.

SEND Support Assistant

The second opportunity is to provide support for SEND pupils across the school. The role will involve supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis to access the curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting pupils, be flexible and committed to providing high quality learning and developing independence in pupils. The candidate needs to be flexible as the position will include delivering Read Write Inc. phonics sessions, working 1:1 with pupils who have additional needs (SEND) and may include small group work depending on the needs of the children across the school.

The Local Governing Committee is fully committed to the safety and protection of its pupils. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure check via the Disclosure and Barring Service together with other relevant employment checks deemed appropriate.
