7.5 hours per week (1.5 hours per day, 11.30am to 1.00pm or 12 noon to 1.30pm) term time only plus 2 training days.

To start November 2021.

Fixed term until July 2022 in the first instance.

West Jesmond Primary School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Midday Supervisory Assistants to join our talented team and to work and play with our friendly, creative and well-behaved West Jesmond children.

Any relevant child care qualifications or first aid training would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:

•Ensuring children are safely supervised at all times.

•Communicate effectively with children.

•Lead children in play in the playground and in classrooms during wet playtimes.

•Liaise with class teachers and Midday Supervisor to inform of any welfare issues

This school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
