Part time

£28,371 - £31,099 per annum. Actual salary £23,003 - £25,215 per annum

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join the Shared Lives Team. The team is committed to person-centred practice to promote independence, wellbeing and choice for service users and carers whilst addressing assessed needs.

You will be expected to support with the recruitment, assessment, training and ongoing skills development of Shared Lives carer, while monitoring the progress of Shared Lives placements through regular visits.

You will also need to maintain a consistently high standard of service to clients by monitoring the standards of service provided, giving timely, constructive feedback to address performance gaps. Also, feedback, concerns or comments to the relevant care management, professionals or safeguarding teams

You will also be required to clearly evidence the standard of care provided by Shared Lives Carers and record this.

You will ideally have some experience of work within adult social care and have knowledge of the Care Act, it would be an expectation that you would be willing to undertake further training to enhance your skills.

Professional support, supervision and appraisal is provided by the Team Manager. The work base is at Castle Dene.
