School Appeals and Complaints Officer



Part time

£33,782 - £37,890 per annum, pro rata. (£20,269 – £22,734 actual salary)

We are seeking to appoint a part time School Appeals and Complaints Officer in the Complaints and Customer Relations Team to join an existing Team providing support for the Children, Education and Skills Directorate.

You will work as part of a wider team with responsibility for providing a customer focused complaints and customer relations service, which includes statutory Social Care complaints, Freedom of Information requests and School Admission Appeals.

You will be a highly motivated and committed team player, with experience of working in a busy customer services environment. You will possess excellent communication and customer service skills; and be able to work confidently and effectively with a range of stakeholders and customers.

The role will involve working in a flexible way with time split between working remotely from home and office based tasks as required at the Civic Centre.
