What are the aims?

What will I be doing?

You will play an integral role as part of a wider team in administering the Councils procurement systems. This involves activities such as, sourcing products/suppliers, consolidating orders, maintaining system suppliers/prices and offering a professional Procurement customer service.

1 x 37hrs per week, Permanent - offering hybrid working, a mix between office base at our Civic Centre, Newcastle and working from home

What will I need?

The successful individual should ideally possess exceptional broad based ICT skills, ideally with a knowledge of procurement systems.

This is an important supporting role to the whole organisation, which can at peak times be challenging, so will need an individual who can effectively prioritise, work well individually and as part of a team and stay calm under pressure in delivering a professional customer service.
