Performance and Data Officer

Ref:

RES198

Full time

£22,627 - £24,491 per annum

Fixed Term for 18 months

Informatics and Insights supports the use of data and systems across Adult Social Care & Integrated Services, and Children, Education & Skills. Colleagues in our teams recognise the potential of well-designed systems to support practice, and the power of data and analysis to inform that practice.

We are currently leading the implementation of the new case management system, Eclipse. We take a user-centred approach to implementation which considers the end-to-end needs of colleagues in using the system, alongside the highest standards of information and system management.

Having implemented the system within Adult Social Care, the programme is now focusing on implementation for Early Help and Children’s Social Care and are looking to expand the team to support the next phase of the programme.

This is an opportunity to contribute to and shape an important part of working life for hundreds of colleagues in Newcastle City Council in the coming years.

We are looking to recruit a Performance & Data Officer on a fixed-term basis to be part of the project team leading the implementation of Eclipse. The Performance & Data Officer is a well-organised team player who undertakes a range of tasks to support the work of the team.

If you want to be part of a team making a difference and want an informal discussion to find out more, please contact Steve Foreman: stephen.foreman@newcastle.gov.uk.

The post is fixed-term for 18 months and would be suitable for a secondment with permission from your current manager.

Please refer to the points set out in the person spec document when completing your supporting statement to demonstrate your skills and experience.
