£25,295 - £27,905 per annum, pro rata

37 hours per week - Part Year Working plus 2 weeks

Newcastle City Learning are looking to recruit a Pastoral Support Officer to work within our young people’s provision. This role will be to support our young people on study programmes, with a focus on attendance and behaviour.

It is essential that the right candidate has an understanding of young people with emotional, social and behaviour difficulties and a background or experience of an educational setting.

We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is working in regulated activity. If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions, a check of police information and we will check the barred list(s).
