We have an exciting opportunity in our team for a dynamic individual who can excel working to serve our diverse internal customers within the Council, as well as working with our housing provider, Your Homes Newcastle (YHN).

What will I be doing?

Our Organisational Development Practitioners help to deliver a range of activities in our team, this includes:

• Helping to plan and deliver surveys and other activity which engages our front-line employees and gathers their views;

• Working with business areas to develop engaging e-learning activity on our Learning Management System;

• Supporting the delivery of our People Plan activity by working on a range of different projects across areas like leadership and inclusion.

What will I need to apply?

You will need experience of working either in Organisational Development or in a similar area such as learning and development, HR, workforce development or employee support. You’ll also be looking for your next career challenge to develop your skills and potential.

To be successful, you’ll also need to be able to work independently, as well as the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively as part of our professional team. The role also requires digital skills to work with our on-line solutions that support our agile workforce, as well as the ability to work with data to deliver evidence-based solutions.

To enable you to do that you would need access to the internet via wi-fi in your home and you we would provide the IT equipment to enable you to work from home.
