SMART Multi Academy Trust comprises of eight primary schools in Newcastle. The Governors of North Fawdon Primary School are seeking to recruit a versatile Nursery Class Teacher who is also able to demonstrate an ability to teach in Key Stage 1.

Candidates must demonstrate a record of accomplishment of high quality teaching and learning. They should be enthusiastic, hard working practitioners who are committed to raising standards and who will be able to contribute to the future success of the school and Academy Trust.

Applications are invited from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. The successful candidate will join a dedicated and talented team who are passionate about raising standards throughout the school whilst maintaining a broad, balanced and creative curriculum.

The successful candidate will be required to teach in Nursery each morning, and Year 2 each afternoon.

SMART Multi Academy Trust is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and satisfy a range of pre-employment checks.
