The Board of Trustees of the Smart Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Headteacher to lead North Fawdon Primary School.

North Fawdon Primary School is a good school (Ofsted July 2019), which has been extremely well-led for the last nine years. Following the head teacher’s retirement in July 2019 this post has become vacant for September 2020.

Trustees are looking for someone with the aspiration and drive to build on the school’s many strengths and ensure an unrelenting focus on providing the best possible education for every child.

The school has an additionally resourced provision for children with SEMH difficulties and is well regarded within the Trust and city-wide for its work with SEND.

The appointed candidate will have a proven, successful track record in school senior leadership and be able to demonstrate that he or she has the vision and the ability to engage staff, parents, and children in ensuring the very best of learning experiences and outcomes for every child in all year groups.

The successful candidate, as a Trust leader, will also be expected to work with other Smart Executive/Headteachers and leaders in other Trust schools when required.
